My name is Joey (he/him) and I am a experienced psychotherapist that is here to help guide you in taking your life back. I strive to aid my clients in reclaiming their ability to heal the mind, body, and inner-Self; manifesting the life they enjoy to live. It has brought me the greatest honor in bearing witness in the empowerment and healing of my clients. My greatest wish is to see a world where people are living as their highest Self, and thriving.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
The healing arts has been my passion for most of my life. From a very young age, I found myself to be intuitive which led me to discover my calling of being a healer through psychological counseling. This devotion towards the wellbeing of my fellow humans has brought me to build a safe space where you can slowly process the experiences that have brought you to this moment of reflection.
EXPERIENCE
I have a clinical background in working with both the chronically mentally conditioned persons as well as the worried-well, and strive to provide the highest quality care to all of my clients. I work with clients that may be struggling with depression, as well as trauma related to past experiences or relationships. Together, and with your permission, we will explore your difficulties and will create ways of working through, sometimes, painful sensations with compassion and deep respect for your autonomy in regards to the pace of the counseling process. You will discover new ways to achieve the meaningful life you enjoy by changing the negative thought patterns that have brought you here.
ENERGY/SOMATIC HEALING
I have found a significant benefit in the practice of mindfulness meditation. Throughout the years in exploring the healing arts I came upon the wonderful healing practice of Reiki. Reiki is a simple, powerful, and yet a gentle, hands-on energy technique originating in Japan that is used for stress reduction, relaxation, and to enhance the body and minds natural healing abilities. I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher/Trainer (RMT) from the lineage of Reiki's founder, Dr. Usui Shiki Ryoho and provide Reiki Healing for all that request it.

I specialize in working with adults ages 18+ in the care of grief, depression, anxiety, relationships, eating disorders, trauma, including religious trauma/spiritual abuse, spiritual growth, and life changing events.

A session is 60 minutes long.
I only provide individual counseling at this time.
I work with all people who come from all walks of life and no two people are alike; therefore, my approach is tailored to your particular needs. I also particularly enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community and I am an affirming provider. I am also a secular psychotherapist and affirm all faiths, spiritualities, beliefs, and non-religious/non-spiritual belief systems.
IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL SERVICES
You can join me on your healing journey where we can hold space within my calm and tranquil office, or we can connect virtually. I am located in Oklahoma City/Moore area and provide both virtual and in-person sessions for all Okies.
I am also licensed in New York and provide virtual sessions for all New Yorkers.

I am only In-network with commercial insurances and do not take Medicaid or Medicare at this time.
PRIVATE PAY
I also accept private payment. The private pay rate is $175 per session with a sliding scale, if need be. For private-fee-for-service, all payments are due at the time of service.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Cash are accepted (cash is only accepted for in-person sessions).
If you are a New York based virtual client and are private pay, all transactions would have to be credit or debit card transactions.
REIKI SERVICES
If you are only interested in Reiki sessions, you can also book a private full body Reiki Healing session. A full body Reiki session takes about an hour and my fee is $125 per Reiki session. This is not covered by insurance plans and would be fee-for-service only. This service is also considered a separate service from counseling.
As a Reiki Master Teach/Trainer I do provide Reiki training/attunements for all who are interested in learning how to harness Universal-Life Force Energy. If you are interested in bringing balance and harmony to all you encounter by becoming Reiki Certified, please reach out. I do host group training/attunements and can also offer individual training/attunements if requested.

I have held a clinical license since 2013 and have been practicing psychotherapy for 15 years.

My therapeutic approach is a humanistic, compassion focused, and wellness approach. My intention in counseling is illuminating the human experience on your journey of the becoming of The Self. I come from a strength based model and I conduct a healing focused foundation within the craft of counseling. I use a multiparadigm philosophy and provide a comfortable space for my clients to explore their personal experiences.
I also integrate mindfulness into my approach to psychological healing and to the overall wellbeing of my clients.
This foundation encourages my clients to empower their own unique healing potential from within themselves. Healing comes from Within and Radiates out.
